From November 2016 till January 2017 I lived and worked at Sundaymorning@ekwc; the European Ceramic Workcentre in Oisterwijk, South of the Netherlands. To fully concentrate on new work.

"Heerkens developed a - for her - unexpected, Baroque and aesthetic visual language. She is continuing this development with research into the 17th century Auricular style: Her findings will inform her ceramic vocabulary during a second residency."

Monika Auch, Talking Ceramics

Final works will be presented by Galerie Marzee, Nijmegen in November 2017.

This project is made possible with the financial help of Stichting Stokroos.
